Why I Started MMM Underground

Starting MMM Underground LLC was never just about starting another excavation company. Like many parents, there comes a point where you stop thinking only about today and start thinking about the future you want to build for your kids.

The name “Triple M” is deeply personal to our family — it represents our children’s initials and serves as a daily reminder of why this company exists in the first place.

Before starting MMM Underground LLC, I spent years working in the public works and underground utility industry, including holding leadership roles managing large-scale operations and teams of more than 100 people. Those experiences taught me the importance of accountability, communication, problem solving, and doing work the right way — especially when communities and families depend on it.

But becoming a parent changes your perspective.

You start thinking less about titles and more about legacy. Less about simply building projects and more about building a future your children can be proud of. I wanted to create something of my own that reflected the values I believe matter most: hard work, honesty, reliability, and treating people with respect.

Throughout my career, I saw firsthand how stressful sewer and water issues can be for homeowners. Most people are not prepared for an unexpected sewer repair, water service leak, or excavation project. When those situations happen, families need someone they can trust — someone who communicates clearly, shows up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work.

That became one of the driving forces behind MMM Underground LLC.

As parents ourselves, we understand how important a home is. It is where families gather, where kids grow up, and where people should feel comfortable and secure. When we work on someone’s property, we approach it with the same care and respect we would want for our own home and family.

At MMM Underground LLC, our focus is improving sewer and water-related infrastructure while reducing environmental impact through efficient field practices and targeted excavation. Whether it is a sewer repair, water service replacement, inspection, or excavation project, we believe quality work starts with honesty, communication, and attention to detail.
